Despite the Pi 2 being the newest and hottest Pi out there, the Model B+ has continued to sell well. As a side effect of optimisations made to the manufacturing process for the Raspberry Pi 2, the B+ is now cheaper to make which means that the Raspberry Pi Foundation has been able to announce, just now, that the base price of the B+ is now $25. So, if you want to pick up some cheap Pis and you’re not worried about the extra speed of the Pi 2, now is a good time. Well, I say “now”, it’s going to take distributors a little while to catch up!
