Are teachers ready for the coding revolution? Can the #RaspberryPi help?

Rory Cellan-Jones, the BBC’s technology correspondent, has written a great article about his time at BETT, the annual educational technology fair in London this week. He’s interviewed several people, including education secretary Michael Gove (who is either the saviour of our technological future or the devil incarnate, depending on which teacher you ask), Carrie Anne Philbin (who has just joined Raspberry Pi) and primary school head teacher Jonathan Furness (who has been attending our Cambridge Raspberry Jams). There’s now a raging discussion going on in the comments section.

Well worth a read if you want to learn about the government’s plans for computing in schools.
