The card, which plugs into the GPIO, features the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">3.5 mm jack (4-pole) for a headset\/boom mic combination for gaming or VoIP applications<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">3.5 mm jack for microphone input<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">On-board MEMS microphone<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">3.5 mm jack stereo line input for connection to devices such as digital audio players (iPod etc.) or mobile phones<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">3.5 mm jack stereo line output for connection to devices such as external stereo amplifiers or powered speakers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">Phono jack for electrical (not optical) S\/PDIF digital input<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">On-board class D power amplifier for external speakers, with connection to external power source if needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">Small pin header for extra functions if they are low cost, already on-chip, and don&#8217;t require any further components<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.element14.com\/community\/community\/raspberry-pi\/raspberry-pi-accessories\/wolfson_pi\">read the page on element14<\/a>.
