This brings with it a whole host of practical things you can build when you need wireless connectivity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a style=\"color: #000000; outline: #000000; text-align: center;\" href=\"http:\/\/shop.ciseco.co.uk\/raswik\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/178.62.14.192\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/IMG_6734__91639.1377778509.1280.1280.jpg?w=560\" alt='RasWIK - Raspberry Pi Wireless Inventors Kit - Ciseco PLC' \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Kit comes with loads of things including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A wireless module (called a Slice of Radio) for the Pi that plugs straight into the GPIO pins.<\/li>\n<li>An SD card with an operating system and software to get you started.<\/li>\n<li>A XinoRF, a wireless-enabled Arduino-compatible board<\/li>\n<li>Loads of electronic components such as LEDs, a buzzer and connecting wires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ciseco, a Nottingham-based company, have also added <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openmicros.org\/index.php\/articles\/81-xrf-projects\/296-raspberry-pi-wireless-inventors-kit\">an extensive tutorial\/guide for the RasWIK which is available here<\/a>. This takes you through the basics of setting everything up as well as detailing an extensive list of projects you can do. Take a look and see for yourself what kinds of things you can make happen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/shop.ciseco.co.uk\/raswik\/\">The kit costs \u00a349.99 (including VAT) and is available from their store here<\/a>. This may <em>seem<\/em> like a lot, comparing it to the Pi itself, but contains a\u00a0<em>hell<\/em> of a lot for the money.
