Google will provide 1.5 million Euros of investment in a partnership with Trinity College Dublin to promote computer coding skills in second-level schools. More than 1,000 Pis will be given to students and teachers.<\/p>\n

Irish Minister for Education and Skills Ruairi Quinn said:<\/p>\n

\u201cInterventions such as this are most effective when they are consistent with national policy and I look forward to the project leaders liaising with my Department and the Teaching Council in this regard.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

John Herlihy, head of Google Ireland says that:<\/p>\n
