However, since Google decided to &#8220;retire&#8221; Google Reader, we&#8217;ve all been looking for a good replacement.<\/p>\n<p>Not one to rest on his laurels, Conor is now using a Raspberry Pi and <a href=\"http:\/\/tt-rss.org\/\">Tiny Tiny RSS<\/a> to replace the Google Reader service.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently it runs very slowly, mostly due to the MySQL database being hosted on the SD card, so it&#8217;ll be interesting to see if hosting it on a USB drive is any faster.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/conoroneill.net\/replacing-google-reader-with-a-25-raspberry-pi-in-the-immortal-words-of-jesse-pinkman\/\">Read the article at Cross Dominant here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conor O&#8217;Neill, like many of us, has used Google Reader in the past to aggregate RSS feeds into a manageable format.
