{"id":2634,"date":"2013-03-05T06:57:53","date_gmt":"2013-03-05T06:57:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/178.62.14.192\/?p=2634"},"modified":"2013-03-05T06:57:53","modified_gmt":"2013-03-05T06:57:53","slug":"pibow-launches-raspberrypi-model-a-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.recantha.co.uk\/blog\/?p=2634","title":{"rendered":"Pibow launches #RaspberryPi Model A case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I guess it was only a matter of time before cases for the Model A started to be produced, and it&#8217;s not surprise that Pibow are the first.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shop.pimoroni.com\/products\/pibow-modela-with-raspberry-pi-model-a\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/model_a_1_of_5_large1.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a &#8220;slimmer, cheaper, more accessible Pibow&#8221; with various new openings and, most importantly, a reduction in the number of layers from 9 to 6 (thanks to the single USB and lack of ethernet port). This is a very svelte little case, <del>though at \u00a328 it&#8217;s very pricey.<\/del>\u00a0and at \u00a38.50 it&#8217;s very cheap. You can get a Model A\u00a0<strong>with<\/strong> case for \u00a328. (Thanks to Andrew Oakley for spotting my mistake!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/shop.pimoroni.com\/products\/pibow-modela-with-raspberry-pi-model-a\">Click here to see more details and, possibly, buy a case.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a very nice case for less than \u00a310.
