Dave Akerman’s<\/a> PIE4 <\/a>landed at approximately 2pm having reached a\u00a0maximum height of 35,409m (~116,000 feet). The TARDIS-encased Raspberry Pi hit the ground in a field just off the B3353 near Whitley, Wiltshire. More details will be posted on Dave’s blog <\/a>once he’s got back home and analysed the data.<\/p>\n

Many thanks for the excellent coverage, particularly the live tracking map. Video feeds didn’t come through at my workplace (probably a firewall issue) but I had great fun watching the ascent, burst and descent virtually via the map.<\/p>\n
