They delivered on their pledges in the middle of last year and\u00a0they&#8217;re now at a point where they have a retail package available. This package\u00a0is now sold at The Pi Hut. The kit\u00a0requires some assembly, but this is well in the\u00a0capabilities of non-technical people. <em>I bought m<\/em><em>y in-laws a kit for Christmas and they had it up-and-running within a day and a half and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/recantha\/status\/816708835486400512\" target=\"_blank\">love the results<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The kit comes with everything you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Weatherproof case<\/li>\n<li>Electronic assembly holder (compatible with all Raspberry Pi models).<\/li>\n<li>Nylon attachment strap<\/li>\n<li>Raspberry Pi A +<\/li>\n<li>Raspberry Pi v2 Camera module<\/li>\n<li>PIR sensor<\/li>\n<li>Jumper wires (3 different colours)<\/li>\n<li>Li-ion battery (8800 Mah)<\/li>\n<li>Seed LiPo Rider<\/li>\n<li>SD Card (8GB micro SD)<\/li>\n<li>USB flash drive 2.0 (4GB)<\/li>\n<li>Real time clock<\/li>\n<li>USB cable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The battery is enough to run the camera for 3-4 days (courtesy of the A+&#8217;s relatively low power requirements).<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it&#8217;s a great, quality package that easily competes with other solutions out there.
