You need to change two files.<\/p>\n
Firstly, edit (using nano, or other editor) the file
\n\/etc\/hostname<\/p>\n
Change whatever is currently in there to the name you want. For this example, we’ll set our Pi to have the name ‘banana’. So, ‘banana’ (without the quotes) is the only thing that should be in that file. Save it.<\/p>\n
Secondly, edit the file
\n\/etc\/hosts<\/p>\n
Change the ‘127.0.0.1’ line to (for our example):<\/p>\n
127.0.0.1 \u00a0 \u00a0 banana<\/p>\n
