Here&#8217;s how you do it.<\/p>\n<p>You need to change two files.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, edit (using nano, or other editor) the file<br \/>\n\/etc\/hostname<\/p>\n<p>Change whatever is currently in there to the name you want. For this example, we&#8217;ll set our Pi to have the name &#8216;banana&#8217;. So, &#8216;banana&#8217; (without the quotes) is the only thing that should be in that file. Save it.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, edit the file<br \/>\n\/etc\/hosts<\/p>\n<p>Change the &#8216;127.0.0.1&#8217; line to (for our example):<\/p>\n<p>127.0.0.1 \u00a0 \u00a0 banana<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
