Astronaut\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thomaspesquet.esa.int\/\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Pesquet<\/a>\u00a0will be in charge of the\u00a0new mission which will see him fly up to the ISS and activate the code. The new competition is\u00a0open to teams with children aged 16 and under from all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esa.int\/About_Us\/Welcome_to_ESA\/New_Member_States\" target=\"_blank\">ESA member states<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is how your team can take part:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Assemble your mission team, which must include at least one support teacher as well as students under the age of 16.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <a href=\"http:\/\/esamultimedia.esa.int\/docs\/edu\/European_Astro_Pi_Challenge_Mission_plan.doc\">Mission Plan Template<\/a> to design a sample mission that showcases your approach to running a space mission, and demonstrates that you can break down your big idea into specific steps.
