In the workshop, he used components from <a href=\"http:\/\/thepihut.com\/collections\/camjam-edukit\/products\/camjam-edukit\" target=\"_blank\">CamJam EduKit 1<\/a>\u00a0(a cheap electronics components kit)\u00a0to teach the basics of the Python library and built up to programming a traffic lights\/pedestrian crossing sequence. Now, he has published the workshop as a &#8220;learn&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.org\/learning\/camjam-kit-1\/\" target=\"_blank\">resource<\/a>\u00a0on the Raspberry Pi website. We (the EduKit team: Tim, Jamie &amp; myself) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recantha.co.uk\/blog\/?p=13787\" target=\"_blank\">think the world of GPIO Zero<\/a> as it represents the easiest way for children (and adults!) to get into physical computing using Python on the Raspberry Pi. We&#8217;re intending to write new versions of <a href=\"http:\/\/camjam.me\/?page_id=236#download\" target=\"_blank\">our worksheets<\/a> using the library in the near future and Ben&#8217;s new resource is even more reason to do so.
