Just wanted to share news of a couple of upcoming events in Cambridge. You probably already know about them, but just in case!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Cambridge Raspberry Jam &#8211; 12th September<\/h2>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/camjam.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/CamJam-4_sm1.jpg?resize=323%2C351\" alt=\"\" width=\"323\" height=\"351\" \/><\/p>\n<p>First up, we have our traditional CamJam on the 12th of September at the Institute of Astronomy. We&#8217;ve got a great line-up of talks which should be fun, educational and informative. <a href=\"http:\/\/camjam.me\/?p=1004\" target=\"_blank\">The timetable of talks is available here<\/a>. We also have a soldering workshop going on throughout the day &#8211; Pimoroni are running that. Our Marketplace will be bustling with the following vendors: The Pi Hut, 4tronix and Pimoroni. And, of course, we have Show and Tell going on all day with various projects from art to robotics. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/cambridge-raspberry-jam-12th-september-2015-tickets-17980002672\" target=\"_blank\">You can book tickets here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Pi Wars &#8211; 5th December<\/h2>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.recantha.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/PiWars2015Logo.jpg?resize=303%2C517&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"303\" height=\"517\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our challenge-based robotics competition will take place on 5th December at the Cambridge Computer Laboratory. 32 teams will compete for prizes over 7 different main challenges, with lots of other side-challenges happening at the same time. We will have a robotics Show and Tell all day and there will be an extensive Marketplace area with all your favourite vendors.
