(You can see one of the winning entries from this year&#8217;s competition above).<\/p>\n<p>This time, the challenge is to &#8220;revolutionise people\u2019s health and wellbeing&#8221; using a Pi and other hardware. Head of IT delivery\u00a0Anita Chandraker has said: \u201cThe competition gives entrants the opportunity to discover what they can achieve through coding in a fun and informal way. Our aim is to help support the teaching and learning of computing, science, design and technology and also inspire the UK\u2019s next generation of tech experts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The competition has the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PA\u2019s primary school award: academic years 4-6<\/li>\n<li>PA\u2019s secondary school award: academic years 7-11<\/li>\n<li>PA\u2019s sixth form &amp; college award: academic years 12-13<\/li>\n<li>PA\u2019s young entrepreneur award: open to all university undergraduates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paconsulting.com\/introducing-pas-media-site\/releases\/pa-consulting-groups-third-annual-raspberry-pi-programming-competition-launched-21-aug-2014\/\" target=\"_blank\">You can read more about it on their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PA Consulting has launched their 3rd annual competition for Raspberry Pi projects.
