Andrew Gale has developed a new, simple add-on board for the Raspberry Pi Model B+<\/strong> that plugs into the GPIO pins. I think this is the first home-grown board I’ve seen for the B+.<\/p>\n

It’s got a number of configurations (see below) and takes a variety of LEDs and switches to give you the board that\u00a0you<\/em> want.<\/p>\n

He’s written some soldering<\/a> and programming<\/a> guides as well as a history of the board and how it evolved<\/a>.\u00a0It’s very similar to the MyPiFi<\/a>\u00a0but has more options in terms of customisation.<\/p>\n

He’s currently selling the kits\u00a0on eBay<\/a>\u00a0for \u00a35 each (including VAT and delivery). I’m getting a review sample sent to me so expect to see that in the next few days (possibly this weekend once it’s arrived).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
