Daniel, FWIW I didn’t find anything usable in the charity stores where I live. I hope you have better luck. The gauge in the photo is of all-new materials. I have been told others have been unable to source these gauge housings outside of Australia, but there must be someone carrying them.

Theres a lot of old clocks and stuff like that in our charity shops, I’ll keep an eye out and let you guys know if I build anything. I need to finish off another Pi project with a vintage super 8 camera first though so I have plenty of time.
Speaking of which – how’s the SuPi8 going, Daniel?
I’ve put it on pause until after I get the camera integration working in BerryIO. Unfortunately I’ve not had much time recently to finish that off so its a bit behind. As you saw at the last Jam though its getting there 🙂
I hear ya. I’m desperate to get started on version 3 of the Picorder but I just need a couple of straight, concentrated days to do it. Biggest challenge is that I want to use a port expander to get more inputs/outputs
