Linux User magazine launches new Raspberry Pi-focused digital mag

Linux User and Developer magazine has just announced the launch of a new digital magazine: RasPi. This is dedicated to the Pi and the first issue is out with 52 pages. The first issue covers the creation of a ‘drone’ – which has been covered in the main magazine before, so we can probably expect some of the material in this new publication to be reprints of the original, with some new content thrown in. The issues only cost 69p and, unfortunately, are only available via iTunes. Hopefully they release it on Android or some other platform soon. Read more here.

  1. Why do these companies only like iFad owners to read their stuff? I won’t download iTunes as it’s so bad. I don’t want to have to turn my Mac Mini just to read a magazine!

    • Exactly. I have this sneaky suspicion that their target market aren’t exactly what you’d call Apple Fanbois! Bring it out on Android, and we can talk!

  2. I concur. However many folks do have iPads and I’ve found the tutorials to be quite in depth and informative. An Android version would be good, or heaven forbid a PDF version!!!
